Music is more than a pleasurable pastime; it's the inspiration behind my artwork.

Each of my paintings, expressionist at its core, integrates not only the tone or mood of a favorite song but meaningful lyrics that remind me of where I was in life at that time.

Beautiful soulful lyrics remind me of moments in time, perhaps the azure blue waters of the Bosporus in Istanbul, the colorful and fragrant summers of Vancouver, my birthplace, or the beauty of Southern California.

The juxtaposition of music, art, and memories can be experienced in my paintings, such as John Lennon's "Imagine" the lyrics are more relevant today than they were 30 years ago. The black lines represent the chaos of our times, and the softer tones reflecting on a world of peace and hope.

"Life's Musical Journey" is an expression of my love of music and creating harmony and warmth as a reflection of life itself. My goal is to leave my viewers with warm emotions invoked by my paintings.
